There are number of Friends groups operating on specific environmental projects within the Network area. The groups are open to anyone with an interest in the environment and are led by very capable people who are happy to share their knowledge as you work alongside of them.

If you have an interest in the environment then joining a Friends group is an excellent place to start and nurture your interest.

There is room for more Friends groups as there are numerous physical assets that need more attention than can be provided by the public authorities charged with their management (such as Hopetoun Park, Grey Box Forest in Darley, Old Gun Club Reserve (in Maddingley)
